Another new route into Da Nang International Airport from Kualur Lumpur starting 1st November 2019. Malaysian low-cost carrier Malindo Air will operate four times a week using their Boeing 737-800 aircraft – with sensible flight times too!
This is not only great news for our Malaysian visitors who enjoy our 5D4N Special Tour Packages, but also guests who transit through KL from further afield

Another new route into Da Nang International Airport from Seoul starting 27th October 2019, Vietnam’s newest carrier, Bamboo Airways will operate daily flights using their Airbus A321 aircraft – somewhat late departures from both ends but it’s more competition on this popular route for our Korean guests plus visitors who transit through Seoul from the US.

Our Simple Tips For VisitingBa Na Hills & The Golden Bridge!
Bà Nà Hills was a French hill station built around 1919. Located high in the mountains west of Da Nang city the station went into general disuse after 1945. In its place, Sunworld Ba Na Hills is THE tourist attraction for many visitors to Vietnam. Reached by a world record holding cable car system, Ba Na Hills is famous for its ‘Golden Bridge‘, opened in 2018.
We have offered successful private tours to Ba Na Hills for some time and can’t emphasise enough how busy the resort can be. Problems arise from its enormous popularity, more so during Vietnam’s holiday periods and at weekends.
For instance, the overcrowded cable car station in the morning with its long queues is to be missed, and our guests should avoid weekend visits if possible.
The problem is due to the exponential rise in domestic & international tourism into Da Nang since Ba Na Hills opened 10 years ago. Plus the worldwide fame of its Golden ‘Hand’ Bridge.
Our coastal city of Da Nang is expected to welcome over 8 million visitors in 2019, up from 7.66 million last year. Its thought 2 out of 3 visitors will want to visit Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge.
Our tips when touring Ba Na Hills with us:

For a family visit: We make an early start to arrive at the ground level cable car station before 07.30. Essential to avoid long queues that build-up with the arrival of the large group tours. Finish your day mid-afternoon means you miss the homewards rush too. This is important advice for families travelling with elders and young children

For couples and adult groups: generally, half-day is enough and we recommend arriving at the lower cable car station around 14.30. The queues have subsided and the weather is cooling when you arrive in the resort. With the return cable car finishing at 21.00 you should get a wonderful early evening view of Da Nang city lights. Usually, we include a morning of Da Nang 'highlights with lunch before the short drive to Ba Na.

Golden 'Hand' Bridge: The attraction everyone is talking about! But remember the bridge is not a 'stand-alone' attraction. You must buy the complete Ba Na Hills resort ticket and take its cable car to view and photograph the bridge.

Central Vietnam’s Hoi An Ancient Town is among 10 ‘stunning holiday ideas’ for 2019 by Elle, the worldwide lifestyle magazine.
Hoi An was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999 and Elle described our hometown as arguably Vietnam’s most underrated and marvellous town, a melting pot of architecture, history and culture. Dating back to the 15th and 19th century, the port town has a statuesque-ancient-town vibe.
“From ornate Buddhist monasteries to the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge and from the bustling Riverside market to the tranquil old town, Hoi An has it all!” Elle wrote.
Other destinations on the Elle list included: Grand Canyon USA, Tunisia, Greenland, French Polynesia, Berlin, Cairo, Dakar & Matera in Italy.

VietJet Air is launching a new route to Japan for the 2019/20 winter season. From 27th October the new service will operate Airbus A321 aircraft on a daily basis.
Our low-cost airline has opened nine new routes to Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and China, carrying some four million passengers on its international routes during the first half of 2019
